Alliances and Rivalries?

In past EA games, (04-07 i believe) there was a feature where you could have a driver that really liked you, or a driver who wanted to put you into the fence no matter what. For NTG, will we have the feature to create alliances and rivalries? And if the AI is made to have individual characteristics, would there be pre-determined relationships? Carl Edwards and Brad Keselowski are rivals, Jeff Gordon and Matt Kenseth, and so on?

Could you explain? I thought it was you just had one rival per race.

no? you build rivals depending on how you race people, where do you get that from? a rival per race?

I have no idea where you heard that but no, that's incorrect. You build rivalries depending on how you race other drivers. If you bump Kyle Busch a few times, he'll become a rival and might pay you back. You can have as many allies and rivals as you want to make.

so if i wreck kyle at daytona will he get me back at bristol or will it be reset after daytona? what i mean is will the alliances and rivalries hold throughout the season or just that race? this is a question i feel like i already know the answer to but just making sure

Eutechnyx said it rolls over throughout races when in season mode. If you wreck Kyle at the Daytona 500, he might get you back at Fontana (2010) or Phoenix (2011).

So i already know, OBVIOUSLY, that there are Allies and Rivals in the game. But In paast Ea sports games, if you got caught up in a wreck and hit someone they would go after you. Will that happen in NTG 2011? even if you accidently get caught up and slam into someone?

would u want 9 rivals at one time? that would make some very paranoid races lol.

i dont know that that's possible, since it would be pretty hard for the AI to tell if it happened during a wreck or not.

theres a video with a rival in it, maybe two videos come to think of it

how will you gain alliances? racing cleanly? drafting? just wonderin kuz in ea you had to draft.

i doubt the AI could tel the difference between intentional and not.
you gain allies by clean passes.

If you are in career mode yes, if your in a quick race, no. You'll start of with rivals(ex:Brad keselowski and Kyle busch)

Will the rivalrys happen like in 04 (not sure bout the rest sorry this is the last one i played sides 09) where if you're spinning and they hit you, they become rivals?
