Maybe we will get that demo that people were begging for. To be honest I just want them to finish the game and make it as good as possible and if that means pushing it back to march then oh well i can wait. This is the best Nascar game ive seen in a while.

First of all, this is just my theory so don't take it as an official statement.

I think the delay was due to Activision making the decision to put all the 2011 content (new nose, Kentucky, new paint schemes) in the game from the start. If you think about it, buying a game that is a year behind in content when it's supposed to be representing the 2011 season, probably seems like an issue to them. Not only that but they want the same content for all 3 systems. As you may have heard, previously the Wii was not going to be able to get the 2011 content because there was going to be no patch for it. This delay gives them the time to add in that content on the Wii and make all consoles versions the same. This combined with the fact that they want to polish the game even more and there's your reason for the delay.

Its honestly worth the wait, just to see it be the best it can be. I don't have any problems with the delay, but i would be lying if i didn't say i was alittle disappointed.

But, the more time it takes, the better the game will be. Thanks for the explanation Cypher.

THe main reason is we simply wanted more time to polish it and hopefully make it the experience you guys are craving. Its never easy to delay a game as it can cause a lot of disappointment, but we genuinely feel that by doing this you guys will be even happier with the end product.

Believe me were all just as desperate to have this game in your hands now and get online and race against you guys. But sometimes more time is needed to get that fantastic end product we want to ship.

Thanks Baker for the explanation. I can definitely understand the reasons. As i previously said, the more time into the game, the better off it will be (in most cases). I think that more time on this game, will make it better.

Will it be coming out in the uk it seems a bit strange to be uk based and not bring it out in your own country.

Its unlikely, but who knows. We will have a better idea the closer we get to mastering.

Time to polish is not a bad thing. Maybe since there is an extra month and a half now, they will be able to add some of the requests like spectator mode...wink wink.
