[Community Event] Lakeside Italia - Name the route!

You'll no doubt have noticed that one of the route layouts for the newly launched Lakeside Italia track is missing a name! The route, currently titled the Community Route, encircles the lake at the heart of the new track and sees players race through the Italian Countryside as well as across the water via two connecting bridges.

This route is the focal point of our latest community contest! If you hadn't guessed yet: you now have the chance to put your stamp on Auto Club Revolution history by naming this route yourself.

Community Route

Week 1 - Entering the contest

Starting now and ending at 11:59PM BST on Sunday 2nd September 2012, you can send us your naming suggestions by:

1) Tweet us your suggested name, ensuring you have @AutoClubRev and #Nametheroute in your Tweet (you must also follow @AutoClubRev to be eligible to enter)
2) Post your suggested name(s) on this forum thread
2) Send us an email titled 'Community Route' to cmevents@autoclubrevolution.com with your ideas

We'll be taking entries from now until 11:59PM BSTS on Sunday 2nd September 2012!

Week 2 - Public voting!

Once we've stopped taking entries, we'll run through and short list our favorites. Then, the following week (beginning Monday 3rd September 2012), we will open two separate semi-finals polls to allow you, the community, to vote on your favorite short listed names and to decide which two players make it through to our finals.

Toward the end of week 2, we'll open our final poll which will allow you to decide once and for all which of finalist's name you love the most and want to see immortalised in Auto Club Revolution history!

Those who make it into the Semi Finals will need to go out and actively campaign to get their entry voted for. Whether that's by putting together a 'Vote for me' livery for their car or making a YouTube video explaining why their entry is the greatest, the players who make the most of the voting phase will stand a great chance of entering the final!

What can I win??

Not only will you take home a brand new Koenigsegg Agera for your Auto Club Revolution account, but we will rename the Community Route permanently with your suggested name. Forever more players will ask one another if they would like a race on the route YOU named. How cool is that?

Those who reach the semi-final voting stages will also be awarded 500 E-Bucks each.
