Points During Race

I havent heard anything about this or even thought about this till now, but like when its getting close to the chase wouldnt it be cool if you could see the points standing during the races and like i dunno top 12 or like the 2 ahead of you and the 2 behind or if your in first then top 5? so you can see the changes through out the races. but it changes everylap. if anychange.

Don't they have "In the Chase" and "On the bubble" which is like that in NTG11? But that would still be cool.

I never understood the idea of "Points as they run" as there is no such thing as "Points as they run" there is only "Points you were awarded AFTER the race is finished".

In NTG11, starting around Indy or something, it has an On the Bubble, and In the Chase icon on the ticker. But I would like that, like during a caution on the replay have the live points to the side or something?

Maybe over the whole season you can just pause the game and there will be a current points option and it shows the whole entire point standings.

I agree. It's just a byproduct of today's world where we get bombarded with useless statistics. It's like watching a baseball game where every 2 seconds there is some graphic displaying what the hitter's average is on a cloudy day where he ate chicken for lunch. At some point it becomes too much.

In NCAA Football 13 they just announced that they are having in game studio updates from other games around the country. So I guess they could do something like a points update at a caution or something. Idk how they could really do it with NASCAR...
