That is really good for a sim. F1 championship edition got way less when it got released while that was the best f1 racing game ever made at that point. Also Grand Turismo 5 prologue received low scores as well, while it was more than decent.

Fantastic review. System 3 need to get this review as much into the public domain as possible. I'm going to post it on every racing game forum I frequent and I would suggest that everyone else does the same. This is great news. Now has anyone managed to get hold of a copy today ;D

Not a chance till next friday. I've been trying to promote it to my clan which i think 3 or 4 have it on preorder and i've been talking about it on the ps fourm. Also been trying to promote the league i'm setting up for it so people can see this is a class game that people arew going to want to buy and keep playing for a long time

Great scores! Like I said in my post above sims never get high scores but SCC has so far. And talking from my experience with the beta this is a sim, in all its glory.

PS: The store I pre ordered still has the date set at today, so fingers crossed.

Congratualtions, you must be very pleased with the SixthAxis review i epxect the reviews will fluctuate between 7 -9 very positive. Just a damn shame the game couldn't have been released at the start of August. It's only a month but i expect many on the fence won't come down on SCs side. I do hope Eute/System3 hit their sales axpectations foe this title and even go better, i sincerely do.


Will Eutechnyx be going on a bit of a break now? I know there was talk of SC reletively soon after FC. I presume you guys won't be going onto another racer just yet ;D

These first notes do not amaze me !

Indeed, we know bases of SCC... Ferrari challenge , and even this it last one had defects, it made the other race games very boring.

Ferrari challenge, Supercar Chalenge 1, I hope that it will be the beginning of a beautiful story and that we shall be entitled to a SCC 2, 3

Thanks to Eutechnyx to have listened the community, to improve and developp a race game which corresponds to us. While many publishers(editors) forgot it !!

very strange reviews specially the one coming from OPM-UK! System-3 need to call up these guys and find out the reason for such a horrible score specially after they gave FC a much worse game a much better review score! I see smoke in the horizon!

They say that the simulation aspect of the game "fails horrifically”. The handling is terrible, the AI broken, track choice mixed & the graphics muddy & lo-res.

wot i agree that the graphics may be a bit low res but they cant criticize the handling aspects, i bet u theyv probably given a better score to some arcadey game like an nfs game, the handling in my opinion is very realistic.

Supercar Challenge isn't on Metacritic. That's where I normally go for lists of reviews. I don't know how System 3 / Eutechnyx go about getting it on there.

What an absolute load of rubbish. It makes you wonder sometimes whether or not these reviewers have any idea about the subject matter to be honest.

Low res? Can't imagine. SCC renders 1080 lines, upscaled from 1280*1080 (?). That's more than most games do.

Are you sure it's not upscaled to that? I would be surprised if that was the native resolution.

Come one everyone knows the guys at OPM only like FPS they don't even know what a race track is! I'd love to give one of them a race just to show them they are clueless about racing game's that don't invole guns or drifting!
