NASCAR The Game 2011 Official DLC Trailer

Today we’re able to detail the upcoming NASCAR® The Game™ 2011 Downloadable Content (DLC) plans. In the coming weeks, the new DLC will be coming to PlayStation® Network and Xbox LIVE® and will include the 2011 car models, with over 60 primary and secondary paint schemes, 2011 race schedule in Career Mode, 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ points system, 200’ MegaVision TV in Charlotte and repaved Daytona track. The DLC will allow gamers the chance to play through either the 2010 or 2011 seasons, giving them an unprecedented two full NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ seasons. Note that the newly constructed Kentucky Speedway has been included in the original game which launched on March 29. The DLC will be free for PlayStation®3 via PlayStation® Network and incorporated in to Patch 2. It will be available for download on Xbox 360 via Xbox Live released shortly after Patch 2 and will cost 160 Microsoft Points.

Please note that the game’s patches are free on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation3.

XBL users are already paying to play online. I just don't understand why they have to pay for this too, but the PS3 (which gets free online) gets the DLC for free as well.

wait a second...what happened to the DLC being free for everyone? Wasn't that stated from Day 1? That is even in the Official FAQ. Complete and utter BS. Good job keeping the lie going for months and then right before release springing this on all the 360 users.

And if this is to appease PS3 users who will have to wait an extra week or two compared to 360 users that is just a load of crap. Everyone has had to wait for this patch and DLC and now only the PS3 users are getting the benefit of waiting.

I don't care if the DLC was just $1. They said point blank hundreds of times that the DLC would be free to everyone. You Eutechnyx, are a complete joke.

If this is the case, then I understand. I'm pretty disappointed that MS would charge it's loyal customers for this.

Now that I think of it, why couldn't you incorporate the DLC into Patch #2 like you did on the PS3? Would doing that possible make it free on the 360?

Eutechnyx had nothing to do with the price, its all microsofts fault, all their trying to do is correct parts of the game, make it perfect for the people saying you suck and also the ones that love the game.
