Unfortunately, this is a  massive change and not something we'd look to patch.

First:
I will try to explain it to you in a simple way.
It's all about memory and the way you produce your game engine around it. Doing a option like that would mean re-write the game's engine to fit the new memory use. That type of option means resources and money.

Second:
Between Shift and ProStreet I chose ProStreet and for a game that represents Ferrari, Ferrari Challenge is the best. It's up there with Sega's F355. The best console racing games ever made. To the point that you spot driving characteristics of some Ferrari cars thought I noted that Eutechnyx did softed those to make the cars more playable. This you will not find in another game driving the same Ferrari on a PC or Console.

It isn't a 'problem' per se, quinceyt.  Personally, I like the idea of racing against a field of equal cars as it maintains a level playing field.  Games with various makes quickly break down to one make races anyway when people evaluate and learn the best car for the best track.

None-the-less, this is a topic which has been discussed many times in the past and as suggested by Mekanizer, and confirmed by staff members of Eutechnyx, having cars of different makes on the track at the same time would require a complete rewrite of this title and it simply isn't going to happen.  You can look for this option in Eutechnyx's next title.

But either way, you're barking up the wrong tree here.  This is the developer's forum.  And when it comes down to it, the decision behind the one make races lies with the publisher, System 3.  And as they had to be poked and prodded to agree to even minor tweaks and updates to Supercar Challenge, allegedly, none of which they were willing to pay for, it is unlikely that they would fund, let alone agree to, a major rewrite of the software for game that's been on the market for 1/2 a year or more and was anything but a 'hot' seller.  To put it bluntly, it simply isn't going to happen.
