The US Patch is OUT...now what's next?

First of all, I'm very, VERY thankful that the North American patch is finally out. The G25 dead zone is much improved and we can finally race on-line. (Although, I haven't had the opportunity to actually try it).
From comments made, it seems like much was riding on the US patch's release. The Leaderboards can finally be cleaned up and hopefully it means that the DLC isn't far behind.
It's my understanding that the first lot of DLC is 'ready' to be submitted to Sony but Eutechnyx has not actually done so. Meaning it will be at least a month from now before anything new shows up in the on-line store. Now that the patch is live, and there will hopefully be some renewed interest in the game, I urge Eutechnyx and System 3 to now
quickly
work together and get moving on this. If the DLC doesn't show up until January~February or later, I'm afraid the window of opportunity will be closing on this title and there will only be a few die hard fans left. By the spring of 2009, people will be talking about GT5 and FC:TP could be a forgotten title, if it isn't already.
I would also like to urge Eutechnyx to make sure the remaining bugs are fixed: The driving force GT wheel, the non-functioning replays, the strange mystery car that shows in first place. All of these are still unacceptable bugs and gnawing defects and simply
MUST
be fixed. And to be blunt, I would like to have them fixed before the end of December. I don't care about free DLC but I want a game that functions correctly. I don't want to wait another 3 months to have any or all of these corrected.
What's the story Eutechnyx? Any more details coming? What's the status on future bug fixes? How about a roll out schedule? What's happening with System 3 and the DLC? We've all (well most of us) been pretty patient. And we've hung in there. Now what's next?

This bug is already fixed, the patch you have has the fix for it.

Alright, my mistake. That's one down...
And just to clarify, I would like some enhancements and improvements as well. I would
LOVE
to be able to save the replays, add some additional vinyls, etc. And I would very much like to see these features at some point down the road. But right
now
, I want everything to work as it should.

Well so far so good with the patch. I've not had any problems out of the game so far. Not been online as I need to unlock some cars and stuff before going online with it. Since were talking about new features how about a
transparency setting for layers
. Oh how this would make me so Happy.

I'm not willing to give up just yet. I still hope to see some additional features if it's easy enough to code at no great expense to the developers. Even minor updates need to be tested and it pulls resources from other projects. So I try to be realistic about it.
By the same token I think Eutechnyx has an obligation to everybody who purchased FC to squash the bugs. And I hope to see some answers from them in this regard.

The deadzone fix for the European version.
Eutechnyx, please explain:
why can you not release patches simultaneously in the US and Europe?

Hi,
As you have seen with the USA patch, timing is way beyound our control. The patches for all regions are produced at the same time.

Thanks for the reply! That's good to know.
Of course that raises the question: is there a European patch on its way even though it's not being talked about, and if so, where in the approval process is it now?
Once the driveability issues are fixed, I'll shut up - I don't care one bit abut decals and trophies etc.
